Android Phone Tips

Use Split-Screen Mode

On devices running Android Nougat and above, you can use split-screen mode to view two apps simultaneously. Just open the first app, then tap the Recent Apps button and select the second app you want to use in split-screen mode.

Customize Quick Settings

You can customize the Quick Settings panel by editing which toggles appear and rearranging their order. Simply swipe down from the top of the screen twice to access Quick Settings, then tap the edit (pencil) icon.

Gesture Navigation

Some Android devices offer gesture-based navigation options. You can enable these in your device's Settings under "System" or "Gestures." Experiment with swiping from different edges of the screen to navigate back, home, or access recent apps.

Google Assistant

Google Assistant can do a lot more than just answer questions. You can use it to set reminders, send messages, make calls, play music, control smart home devices, and much more. Just say "Hey Google" or long-press the home button to activate it.

Optimize Battery Life

Android devices offer various battery-saving features. You can optimize battery life by enabling Battery Saver mode, limiting background activity for specific apps, and keeping your device updated with the latest software updates.

Secure Your Phone With Smart Lock

Smart Lock allows you to keep your device unlocked in certain situations, such as when it's connected to a trusted Bluetooth device, when it recognizes your face, or when it's in a trusted location. You can find Smart Lock settings in your device's Security settings.

Do Not Disturb Mode

Do Not Disturb mode silences calls, notifications, and alerts while still allowing important contacts or apps to get through. You can customize Do Not Disturb settings based on your preferences and schedule.

Customize Home screen

You can customize your Android home screen by changing the wallpaper, rearranging app icons, adding widgets, and using different launcher apps available on the Google Play Store.

Explore Hidden Features

Android often has hidden features that users may not be aware of. For example, you can enable a hidden System UI Tuner by long-pressing the settings gear icon in the Quick Settings panel. This allows for additional customization options like status bar tweaks.
